1 can kidney beans

1 can butter beans

1 can lima beans

1 can baked beans

10 slices bacon

2 cloves garlic

3 onions, diced

¼ cup vinegar

½ cup brown sugar, packed

½ T dry mustard

 

Drain and reserve liquid from kidney, butter, and lima beans.  Rinse beans. 

Cut bacon into pieces and brown.  Add garlic and onions and sauté until almost soft.  Stir in vinegar, brown sugar, and mustard.   Simmer 5 minutes.  Add baked beans and rinsed beans and stir.  Place in baking dish and bake 1 ½ hours at 375oF.  Stir occasionally and add reserved bean liquid if appears dry.
